I bring nearly a decade of experience in the insurance industry, from excelling as a top-producing agent to my current role as a senior underwriting assistant at a tech-forward managing general agency. This background has given me a practical understanding of how insurance policies function beyond their written terms. As a second-year J.D. candidate at the Nashville School of Law, I am now building on that foundation by integrating legal training with industry insight.
As a former DACA recipient, I understand firsthand the systemic barriers many face when navigating institutions that were not designed with them in mind. This experience continues to influence how I approach challenges, particularly in advocating for more inclusive, transparent, and culturally aware environments. I stay connected to the immigrant and Latine communities through LUCHA (Latinos United for Change, Hope and Advocacy), the first Hispanic and Latine student association at NSL. I founded LUCHA to create a space where students of all backgrounds can explore Latine culture, build community, and advocate for collective progress. I also support educational equity through Barrio Education for Liberation, a grassroots nonprofit focused on expanding college access for underrepresented students.
Upon graduating and passing the Tennessee Bar, I plan to pursue a career in insurance law, translating complex legal and regulatory frameworks into clear, actionable guidance for insurance organizations. At the same time, I am personally committed to providing pro-bono support in immigration law, with a focus on helping undocumented students navigate the challenges I once faced.
I co-founded Field to Forum to amplify voices like mine, professionals bringing real-world insight to legal conversations that matter.
